KI Design (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates kidata.app (the “Site”), and we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users’ and visitors’ personal information. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information we receive from users of the Site.

KI Design is responsible for the personal information under its control. We have appointed a Privacy Officer and a Security Officer to ensure compliance with Canadian privacy legislation and fair information principles.

NOTICE AND COLLECTION

While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain information that can be used to contact or identify you. “Personal information” is any information that is identifiable with you, as an individual. Personal information we collect may include:

We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. The Site covered by this Policy does not knowingly collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of 13.

DATA USE AND RETENTION

We limit the use of personal information to the purposes identified in this Policy and for which you have provided implicit or explicit consent. We retain personal information for only as long as it is necessary to fulfill the stated purposes of data collection, except with your consent or as required by law.

Personal information provided to us by users is primarily stored on servers in Canada and the United States.

KI Design will destroy personal information that is no longer needed.

DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

We at KI Design do not transfer any personal information to third parties or service providers.

ACCESS

KI Design voluntarily provides individuals with access to their personal information for review or update. If you wish to access your personal information, to challenge its accuracy or update it to ensure completeness, you may email us at solutions@kidesign.io. KI Design will not release data unless the identity of the requester is authenticated, and we are able to ascertain that the information requested is linked to the requester.

We will provide a response within 30 days of receiving an access request. If under certain circumstances we are unable to fully separate your personal information from that of another individual, we will not be able to provide you with access to your information.

BREACH RESPONSE PROTOCOL

KI Design affirms its ability to promptly and appropriately respond to, contain, and mitigate the impact of a privacy or security breach or incident. Accordingly, KI Design has a documented Cybersecurity Incident Management policy and protocol to identify, manage, and resolve privacy and security breaches. Systems and documented processes are in place, with controls and audit trails, to respond to privacy and security breaches which occur as the result of loss, theft, unauthorized use, access, disclosure, copying, modification, or unauthorized or unsecured disposal of collected information.

COOKIES

Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Like many sites, we use cookies to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse or disable all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. WEB-TRACKING DISCLOSURE STATEMENT

The KI Design website uses cookies, web beacons, and tagging technologies, in order to improve usability, evaluate content popularity, personalize service user experience, improve the quality of our chatbot recommendations, and measure the advertising return on investment. Our AI processes also analyze the conversations between service users and the KI Design chatbot and create internal tags for each conversation.

Using Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect information about the use of our website. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information.

We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that a website creates and places on a service user’s computer when they visit the site. The KI Design website utilizes cookies to track language preferences, provide customized web page content, manage user sessions, and display website navigation history. We cannot identify service users from this information.

KI Design uses cookie data to analyse user activity in order to improve our site. Users may file privacy complaints and disputes by contacting KI Design’s Privacy Officer at solutions@kidesign.io, who is accountable for our privacy compliance. Every privacy-related complaint will be acknowledged, documented, and investigated, with the results being provided to the complainant. If the complaint is found to be justified, appropriate measures will be taken as a result.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

This version of the KI Design Privacy Policy will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.
